29 Rooms Chicago

29 Rooms is an Instagram lover's heaven. 29 Rooms is a one weekend only pop up located in a warehouse in the West Loop neighborhood of Chicago. Refinery 29 is a digital media company that is the  creative genius behind the phenomenal 29 Rooms. 

This pop-up art gallery was one of the coolest and most amazing places I have ever been. Each room had a unique and immersive concept.

My Columbia College Chicago babe and blogger goddess Bree Quiachon came with me to frolic in all 29 rooms.  

Some of my favorites were the rainbow filled "love is love" room. The "hear our voice" room in celebration of the woman's march. The "shred it" room where you can write down all the things that are holding you back in life and shred away the bullshit. 

Another great room was "the future is female" room where you got to throw on boxing gloves and embrace your inner feminist. 

My absolute favorite room by far was the "become the masterpiece" exhibit. Artist Alexa  Meade or @alexameadeart on Instagram created two rooms. Both rooms are full of beautiful brushstrokes. One room was black and white while the other was an explosion of color. These two rooms were my favorite because you become apart of the fun. You get to throw on fun and wacky clothes and props while you become art yourself. 

29 Rooms is a wildly amazing experience and totally worth the money. So far 29 Rooms  has visited San Francisco and Chicago, next up... New York. Snag you tickets while you can!
