The Tassel Was Worth The Hassel

I graduated College... CAN YOU BELIEVE?!?!?!

Gradation is a special time to show off your greatest educational accomplishments. I did not have the easiest college journey. I attended four colleges. I accomplished some general education courses at the College of Lake County. I then transferred to Northern Illinois University  where i declared a communications degree. After two years at NIU, I choose to study abroad an attend fashion classes at Florence University of The Arts. Finally, I attended my last college, Columbia College Chicago. 

I received a Degree in Fashion business with a minor in visual merchandising and display.  Here are a few snapshots from my big day. I had so much fun designing and creating my graduation cap. My shoes, earrings and jumpsuit are by Anthropologie. Special shout out to Revlon for having the  best matte lipsticks ever. 

Special Thank you to Kalya Larocca for letting my borrow her beautiful Italian flag stole. This garment truly made my graduation look perfect. 

As if graduating was not amazing enough, I posted a lovely little Instagram photo and had a very special surprise in the comments. Jonathan Van Ness from Queer Eye on Netflix commented on my graduation photo.
