Fall in Chicago
Every single autumn in Chicago I always trek my way out of the city and head to the suburbs for a day or two. I drive upwards of 2 hours to visit my favorite apple orchards, pumpkin patches and farms. Some of my favorite places to visit in Illinois include:
#1 Goebbert’s Farm & Garden Center
#2 Stade’s Farm & Market
#3 Royal Oak Farm Orchard
#4 Edwards Apple Orchard
#5 Chicago Botanical Garden
If you don’t want to leave Chicago, you can go visit:
#6 Millennium Park
#7 Lincoln Park Zoo
They both have beautiful fall foliage and make for a pretty great afternoon stroll. It doesn’t hurt to have a little fall photo shoot either! I highly recommend you take the drive out to any of my fall favorite places here in Illinois. You can pumpkin pick, grab a bag of kettle corn, sip on some hot caramel apple cider, visit a cute farm stand store full of knickknacks, enjoy a bite of a fresh made apple cider donut, pick the apple of your eye and make some great autumnal memories.
