The Gwyneth Chair

Gwyneth Paltrow did a collaboration with CB2 and created one of the most beautiful swivel chairs I have ever seen. I fell in love with this chair the minute I sat in it. CB2 is known for its high end designer collaborations and this chair is no exception. It is created with a beautiful boucle fabric. You can order it in black boucle or in white boucle. For my space the white boucle was the best choice. It’s soft, sexy, simple and beautiful. I chose to nestle this beautiful chair in the corner of my living room. It overlooks Montrose Harbor and the city. Whenever I entertain, my friends are always so excited to sit in this chair and drink wine. I decorated this cute corner with a beautiful black and white bone inlay piece from CB2. The Taylor side table is stunning. I found some old cheap vases and painted them black and white. I bought fresh bunches of eucalyptus and let them dry out in the vases so they got an antique and pastel look to them. I found some black iron knickknacks from a store called Fleur in Logan Square and they truly make this corner perfect. My friend Scout got me the cutest marble coasters for Christmas and they work so nicely in this little nook. I found an adorable little Pixar-esque inspired lamp from Target and I think it really ties the whole corner together. This chair is amazing and so much fun. It truly adds a fun design element to my living space.
